How did Candy Corn land in the same bucket as Smarties and Sweetarts?

This is a very good question. And quite a challenge to answer. I LOVE candy corn. But it doesn’t really fit into any kind of candy category that I know of. It’s not like anyting else. The closest I could come to fitting it in was to fit it in with the stuff I used to eat as a kid (but don’t eat anymore).
I do, however, still eat Candy Corn. Perhaps I should have made it its own category. Or added it to the Junior Mint category. Where would you have listed it?

I looked over all the buckets and it doesn’t fit any one of them. Candy Corn is like those candy pumpkins, a sort of marzipan-like confection. But you don’t have any other marzipanish candy.

Did you ever jam candy corn on your teeth to make fangs and hillbilly teeth…or was that just me and my weird sisters?

Ah, I have a friend who loves marzipan but I really don’t like it. I don’t know why. Yeah, Candy Corn really is the only kind of candy like that on the list. I wonder what other people would come up with for a list. It’s kind of like shoes – you can tell a lot about someone from their candy.
mm, I never did the fang thing. I’d like to see that sometime. Was it only at Halloween?

Not just Halloween. Any time we got candy corn, we’d try to make fangs.
You ever get Boston Baked Beans?
I’d put Milky Way bars over Snickers, especially frozen. I love those little bite-sized ones. My mom will always have a bowl of stuff like that around and its hard to resist.

mm, aren’t those BB beans really hard to chew? I’m back to the teeth thing again. Some candy is too hard on the teeth.
No, I’m sticking to my Snickers. I love the peanuts. Milky Ways are missing the peanuts. I love the little frozen fun-size Snickers bars. Only 2 points, too, if you’re counting calories.

The Boston Baked Beans I remember had a hard sugary shell over a peanut. Kind of crunchy.
Milky Ways! Now they come in dark chocolate too!
