ybonesy, what a great photograph of your mother. I was looking through old photos of my mother today, too. In gratitude and appreciation. Thanks for posting this. And Happy Mother’s Day to you!

Such a beautiful mom! A mom who plays poker is a real ace in the hole. That one act tells a lot about her. All hail the poker moms out there. When I get a chance I’ll have to find a “poker picture” of my mom.

yb, you look so much like your mom. I could tell without reading the caption that she was related to you.

Ah, gee; how sweet of you to include me! I didn’t see it until just now, (Wednesday a.m. after Mothers Day.)
Thank you very much. Your Mom is beautiful; Oh, how I remember those pin curls, which we used before they came out with the plastic rollers. Just twist a strand of hair around one finger, then two bobby pins, one across the other to hold it down. Much more comfortable to sleep in.
(When I came home later than I should, I sat up in bed and rolled up my hair in the dark…shh, don’t tell anyone!)
Hope you had as nice a Mothers Day as I did!

A striking woman…your Mother…and the resemblance is remarkable. I love her expression…very Mona Lisa mysterious. She could be thinking so many things… it makes me wonder.
