QM, what an imaginative haiku for a super foto! (Or haiga is it called when combined?) Funny, but each time I go thru a carwash I think a haiku is just waiting to be written about the experience, but never have done so. You are always ready with your camera! (said, smiling.)

oliverowl, thank you so much. And thanks for reminding me to add haiga to the tags on this piece. I was thinking after I posted this that I have the most fun responding to photographs with haiku or senryu. That’s what happened with this one, forming the modern haiga. Car washes are such meditative places. I rolled through one late yesterday with Liz. When I go through old photos for Archive 365, I find lots of photos of the carwash experience, most taken with my Smart phone. I guess it draws me in. If you write that haiku after the next Wyoming car wash, would love to hear it!
