Jude, thank you so much. I appreciate your comment. Try as I might, I may never capture this moment quite the same way again. It was an instant of biting the cob, light flowing through the window.
I was watching a show with Liz last night, of art all across America. They had several photographers on the show whose work I loved. One shot old abandoned buildings, slices of Americana. He’s been doing it for 20 years. Beautiful photos. The other shot people that he was drawn to in the environment where he saw them. He’d walk around looking for the shot that drew him. The last was of a robed monk in SC, standing alone in a grove of trees.
I think next year, I want to incorporate a more serious practice into my photography. Larger format camera. But same level of commitment I’ve had with the BlackBerry 365. I feel inspired.
