Patty has lovely feet! Love, love, love the yellow & big toe flowers with blue flip flops. Summer is not far off. Time for me to give my feet some TLC. D

They are lovely.
Time for me to give mine TLC, too, diddy. Feet in summer are like short hair–got to attend to it pretty regularly.

I must be psychic! Every time you write about toes, I feel strangely compelled to go check in at RR! I wrote a story about a woman who has a van gogh on one big toe and matisse on the other. I just searched my own blog for toes, and apparently I have an interest in them. I had no idea. And all of that reminds me – time to go get my feet summerized.

Almost forgot to mention – I really like patty-canvas-gallery -the repetition of that short flat “a” sound at the end of each line. Really pleasing to my ear.

Cute toes! They make me want to go to Hawaii. 😉

Yes, very Hawaii colors.
Teresa, thanks for pointing out the short “a” thing–a happy accident. 🙂 And yeah, you and toes. Did you write about the van Gogh and Matisse toes on your blog? Or in a notebook?

It was on Cuentos – here’s the link: http://mothergoose.wordpress.com/2008/08/05/zuzu/
I have a frequent wish for pedicures with pretty toenails, but almost never get around to it.
Look – you’ve got a 20 minute writing practice on feet and toes! Brilliant – I think I’ll share it with my Monday group, if you don’t mind.
Thanks for keeping things interesting, Ybs, QM and RR

Adorable tootsies. And your haiku is without a doubt one of the best I’ve ever read. I’m not a purist, and I love your American slant on an ancient art.
One of the things I love about traveling to Mexico and Central America is having my nails done. They really know how to turn a manicure into a work of art south of the border.

Thank you, christine! Oh, I bet a pedicure in Mexico results in colorful toenail art.

How very cool — both the toenail art and the haiku. 🙂

Wow! I love the yellow polish. I have never, ever seen yellow polish. I’ll have to have the girl at the nail salon get some! Of course it might not look good on my short stumpy toes!

Ever since last year Christmas when Elena treated me to a pedicure, I finally like my toes when they are painted tidy bronze colors. Now I even do it myself therefore challenging myself to do more for my outward appearance. Nice Haiku.

That’s a really nice Christmas gift, and not one that comes around so often.
Yeah, I really like my toes when they’re painted. In the summer I never go without painted toenails.
