It’s hard to believe, but the years are ticking by on red Ravine. We are well into 2009. If you missed any of the writers and artists who published with us in 2008, links to each of their pieces are below. Please feel free to revisit their work. Or if you are reading for the first time, new comments are welcome; let them know what you think.
ybonesy and I extend our gratitude to our dedicated readers, to our haiku poets, and to all who have published with us on red Ravine. It is our honor and pleasure to have gotten to know you better through your work. We look forward to future submissions.
Thank you!

Wow, it is cool to see these writers and pieces listed all in one post. Thanks, QM, for this recap, and thanks to all of our contributors in ’08.
Please keep the submissions coming. We have some lined up in ’09, but we’re always grateful to hear from writers and photographers and artists seeking to publish their works via red Ravine.

I can’t thank you enough for all of the work you both do to keep this site as good and welcoming as it is. I will always remember that red Ravine was the first place that published anything I wrote. Thank you a million times over.

Carolee, so true…what a year it has been! Time’s a movin’ and shakin’ ahead. Glad you got to a Natalie Goldberg workshop, too. Each one is so different and I’ve met all kinds of different writers at each of them. Including ybonesy!
Bob, thanks for writing with us. I’d forgotten we were the first to publish your work. Thank you so much for trusting us.
Lil, the collaborative part of red Ravine is what makes it keep being fun for me, and I’m guessing for ybonesy as well. All the different layers of work, people, types of writing and art and poetry really help keep me motivated to keep going. Thanks so much for writing with us.
ybonesy, I agree, it’s wonderful to see all these writers and artists in one post. I also went back and looked at our 2007 Guests as well and even more good work there. I feel blessed for the community here. Thanks for all of your hard work with me here!

I too can’t believe that it’ll be a year soon that I have hopped on board with red Ravine! Come August (I believe), it’ll be a year!
I have enjoyed so many stories and poetry here from all writers as well as what you and yb have done to this site. It’s a wonderful collaboration! Here’s to another year and more years to come!! Cheers!! 🙂
If you think about it, it’s like a quilt of words and pictures combined! Or even a mosaic, if you will. I’m thrilled, honored, and humbled to say that this place is one of my favorite homes. ❤ ❤ You get my love!!

Christine, thank you so much. I often think of you down in Georgia. Seems so far away, yet only a click to the warmth and Southern sun.
A~Lotus, it’s so wonderful to have met you through your haiku. I can’t even remember how you found us here but I’m so glad you did. I look forward to the dance of your haiku, tanka, renga. Yes, many more years to come!

QM, I stumbled upon here through the Read Write Poem website. red Ravine was featured there, and it was about the writing practices that we have here. And before I knew it, I explored this site and made myself comfortable. 🐱 I’m enjoying every minute when I get a chance to visit you, yb, and all other writers/poets here! 🙂
