QM! No fair! I’m sitting at the gallery and I’m starving! But love SpongeBob and the great hiku. I just saw SpongeBob while searchng the cool kid Band-Aids section. I decided on the very colorful boo-boo” brand of diecut shapes of animals and bugs. I have a giant blue bee with big eyes on my cheek right now.
Whats’ the dip? Ranch?

heather, ah, the Boo-Boo brand. I had to research it. And I’ve bought the Pirate ones. I really am not in touch with these things and wear the Band-Aids for fun and free-spiritedness. But I saw this in the New York Times Fashion and Style section. I guess we’re trendier than I thought. 8)

Hey, love the diecut shapes of animals and bugs. Your blue bee sounds perfect. We saw a ton of bees at the MN State Fair last night. And there’s an ice cream place in the Horticulture Building that sells Honey Ice Cream with Sunflower Seeds. We ran into an older man who wanted the bench we were sitting on. When we got up to give it to him and walk toward the bee section, he said, “You’ve got to try the Honey flavored ice cream. I get it every year. It’s the only one with sunflower seeds in it.”
The dip for the Deep Fried Tater Tots — nope, not Ranch. It was their own concoction. Seemed like a type of sour cream dip with spices. VERY GOOD though!

*drools* Almost midnight, but I’m getting hungry just looking at the photos. I love tater tots!! ❤ I actually like ketchup than sour cream on mine though, and boy do I squirt dem ketchup sauce all over my tater!!! 😉
And I’m jealous!! I would love to go to a fair/bazaar/carnival/festival right now instead of studying for anatomy or microbiology. The good thing about where I live is that there are soooo many wonderful festivals in the fall!! Thanks for posting this up! I’m gonna keep an eye out for festivals and such. My camera NEEDS some good workout since I haven’t really used it as much (and it was a gift!).

What could be better than food on a stick? I just introduced my 3 year old to fair food last weekend. That was a lot of fun. He was really digging it. But I’ve never seen the variety of stick foods like the ones you listed.
Macaroni and cheese on a stick? Sounds like heaven to me.

I could tell which one you were eating by the Sponge Bob band-aid. Gotta run, girl, but keep up the good work. Glad S.B. is there to keep your fingers going.

a~lotus, you sure have some high-powered classes you are studying for. My brain gets tired just thinking about them. Hey, I’m a HUGE ketchup fan (just ask Liz). I put it on nearly everything (except eggs). It kind of grosses her out sometimes. I was the one eating the mac and cheese. She loved the dipping sauce for the tater tots. Hope you have fun getting your camera out of cobwebs. I find it really fun to take photographs. Especially at the Fair.
Dan, the mac and cheese on-a-stick was great. I was surprised I liked it so much. I bet your 3-year-old had a lot of fun. One thing we were noticing about the Fair food is all the grease. Man, it’s really loaded. Couldn’t eat it every day, that’s for sure. It’s a once-a-year event!
ybonesy, awh, I gave myself away. 8) I had a paper cut from work and we stopped on the walk into the Fair, I pulled out my little Band-Aid and Neosporin case and slapped one on it. It was SpongeBob SquarePants that came out of the little blue holder!

Wow. That mac and cheese on a stick looks irresistible, I must say. Now I just need a recipe…and a deep fryer.

teaspoon, it was great. I’d get it again. I’ve got more things on my list for tonight. I’m trying to save room. We might have a deep fryer but I can’t remember the last time we used it.
I used to deep fry shrimp once in a while like Mom did growing up. But these days, I’m more apt to buy it out. When I was in St. Simons and Savannah, they had the best shrimp ever. I ate tons of it when I was there in July. 8)

Dang QM, those are some pretty snootie bandages they have. I’ve never heard of them. Mine are the simple Target ones for small kids…and 50 year olds 🙂 Today I’m sporting a pink pig.

Heather, you are so right. I also buy the simpler ones in Target. And only wear them for paper cuts, hangnails, and other assorted day to day boo boos. 8)
Pink pigs are good. I saw a lot of them at the Fair this week! I did have the Honey ice cream with sunflower seeds last night. I didn’t have room for it on Wednesday. It was DELICIOUS. We ate up a storm. Beautiful evening. More to come on that later!
Oh, my gosh, I just looked at your link for the Classy Kid Boo-Boo Care Character Bandages and Stickers 20-pk. I HAVE to have some. Next time we go to Target, guess what? More Band-Aids for QM. 8)
