QM, as always a great photo & the perfect haiku! I love the name Medicine Lake. The moon shot is perfect! You always capture the “right” moment. D

QM, are those clouds that appear faint toward the bottom of the shot? They are so gorgeous! What subtlety.

I found all three very soothing, and I thank you .

Scot, thanks. And some great poetry on your blog as well. Fellow haiku writer. BTW, I used to love the Ozark Mountain Daredevils. I had not thought of them in ages! Fun to watch that video.
diddy, I love the name Medicine Lake, too. I’ve been wanting to look up the origins of the name. I don’t know it but would like to find out. That kind of stuff is interesting to me.
yb, those clouds – that was such an amazing afternoon. Liz and I went over to the Art Shanty Projects around sunset. The sun was setting on one end of Medicine Lake, at the same time the moon was rising high over us. I think the clouds were catching the rays from the setting sun. It was so magical.
gypsy-heart, thank you. It’s soothing for me to revisit these photos. It was freezing that day but so calming to be walking on top of the lake. I’m still working on getting the whole set up in Flickr. I’m making progress!
