This painting is clever and fun. I have looked at it more than once today and simply grinned.
Thanks. I kind of want to do a whole series, like playing cards. All the instances where you just don’t bother to take off your shoes.
This reminds me, once traveling in India I was sitting in the cab of a tourist bus, hitching an illegal ride to Agra from Delhi. I folded my legs into my lap yogi-style and found the soles of my shoes facing up at me and the shrine in front of me. (The shrine was to keep our vehicle safe in travel.) The busdriver and his two assistants, also up in the cab, had a fit. In that case, shoes stayed off!
Oh, good. I hope you will post the rest of the series as they are completed. Great fun.
